✌ 4 Great Topics To Use For Your Meeting Check-ins

Whether you’re running a meeting, workshop, or presentation online or IRL, it’s always nice to have an around the table check-in to kick things off. I always give the team one or two specific questions to answer in the check-in. Here are my top 4 favorites.

I usually say something like: So before we start today’s meeting let’s have a check-in. Today’s question to answer is (drum-roll)😂 :

  • What have you done lately that you’re proud of?
  • What personal trait did you use to make that happen?
  • What are you thankful for?
  • What do you look forward to?

And then there are lots more of course – feel absolutely free to comment below.

Comparing your chapter 3 to someone else’s chapter 74

You know comparing yourself to others is never a good idea. Why? It’s simply impossible to get any value out of it. And besides – it’s like comparing pears to apples. Simply doesn’t work.

So… You need to focus on what you can control and impact in your own life.

Take a moment to reflect on:

  • Where you were at this time last year?
  • What have you learned since then?
  • What have you accomplished?

Now THAT’S what you should compare yourself with.

Looking to others for inspiration is a totally different game. That works. And it could be really powerful for your motivation and drive as well. As long as you don’t fall into the trap of comparison. Ok?

Try turning your thoughts and see what happens.
